We’re a team of seasoned security and GRC leaders who’ve lived the problem we’re solving. We’ve built the programs, run the audits, answered the questionnaires, and watched good security work get buried under busywork and point-in-time snapshots that go stale before anyone acts on them.
AI changed the stakes. Autonomous agents don’t navigate messy, unverified evidence the way humans do, they act on it. That makes trustworthy, continuously verified operational truth not just a nice-to-have, but the foundation everything else depends on.
And that foundation includes your third parties. The vendors, tools, and integrations your business runs on aren’t peripheral to your infrastructure, they are your infrastructure. Knowing who they are, what they touch, and whether their controls are holding isn’t a compliance exercise. It’s operational reality.

Meet Our Founders
Rachel Curran
Co-Founder and CEO

What she does: Rachel has extensive experience in SOC 2 compliance and information security, having built programs for numerous companies and with dozens of audits under her belt. She is a problem-solver extraordinaire who hates inefficiency and values helping people achieve their goals.
Fun fact: Rachel lives on a farm with a few too many sheep.
How she got here: Rachel has a diverse background in tech, compliance, and operations. Starting her career as a wholesale bakery manager, she developed strong operational skills and a global perspective by traveling to over 40 countries and living in Australia and Ireland before transitioning to tech. Like so many in GRC , she launched her career in GRC when someone said “we need a SOC 2” and no one knew what it is.
Michael Nipper, Co-Founder and CTO

What he does: Michael leads engineering at Locktivity, ensuring that everything we build is secure, scalable, and user-friendly.
Fun fact: Michael loves planning group trips with friends, and has recently planned trips to Wyoming, Maui, and Iceland.
How he got here: Michael’s first job (aside from his talented stints as a busboy and propane salesman!) was at Duke University, helping to build apps for public health and social science research projects. He went on to lead application security engineering at Logikcull, building out the program from scratch. Michael attended UNC-Chapel Hill (B.S.), Wake Forest University (M.S.), and has a certificate in Advanced Computer Security from Stanford.
